2026-07-05C1 Eurocup 24 Hours confirmed in Portimão, with more than 30 teams already lined up for December’s celebration
The C1 Eurocup 24 Hours is confirmed for 19–20 December at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão. Organised by G’s Competizione, the event has already attracted more than 30 pre-registered teams and strong international interest. In its first year running the trophy, the organiser is bringing the endurance challenge back with the ambition of ending the season with a major celebration of the C1 Eurocup community.

One of the highlights of the closing stages of the season is confirmed. The traditional C1 Eurocup 24 Hours has its date and venue set: the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão will host the event on 19–20 December. The announcement came from G’s Competizione, which now organises the trophy, highlighting the strong international interest already recorded and its ambition to turn the race into a true celebration of C1 Eurocup.
This edition is particularly significant. In its first year running the Sprint competition—which attracted its largest entry of the season in Vila Real—the organiser has also managed to bring the ambitious 24-hour race project to life. Its stated aim is to keep alive an event that has become a fixture on the racing calendar.
Over previous editions, amateur racers and established names have shared the track to take on the challenge of racing twice around the clock. From the moment G’s Competizione took over C1 Eurocup, staging the race was one of its ambitions. Following an intensive effort, it secured 30 pre-registrations, providing the foundation needed to agree the dates with the circuit. With those dates now confirmed, the entry list is expected to grow.
For the organiser, this represents “a major achievement. This is our first year running the Sprint side of the C1 Eurocup Trophy, and we are beginning to revitalise the competition. We also wanted to keep the 24-hour race alive—a celebration that has taken place in recent years and always attracts a large turnout. It is always an end-of-year celebration, and many people keep their cars specifically to take part in this race.”
